The Rush Institute for Healthy Aging (RIHA) was constituted in 1993 to study common chronic conditions of aging. RIHA aims to discover the factors related to healthy aging. Research studies at RIHA include longitudinal, epidemiological, and community cohort studies and clinical trials that seek to identify factors for healthy aging and then test their effectiveness for prevention of brain neurodegneration.
RIHA awarded funds from Alzheimer’s Association as part of US POINTER study: https://www.alz.org/aaic/releases_2017/AAIC17-Wed-briefing-Developing-Topics.asp
